Anderson Hardwood Flooring Description
Anderson Hardwood Flooring is known throughout the industry as making some of the strongest and most durable wood floors available. Their unique "Cross-Locked Engineered"™ technique uses actual hardwood for the core of the floor, not the plywood used by most other manufacturers. As a result, Anderson floors have a higher price than other hardwood floors, but are a better value. Flooring that Anderson features is mostly made from North American hardwoods like Oak, Maple & Hickory (In fact, Anderson has one of the best selection of hickory flooring in the business!), but they do carry some exotic floors as well.
Another thing Anderson is known for is the distinct character of its wood. Few other hardwood brands have quite the same natural and realistic appearance as Anderson's collections. As a result, some of Anderson's most popular collections are their rustic and distressed hardwood floors like Dellamano, Virginia Vintage, and the Mountain collection. Other Anderson favorites are the RhinoTuff Collection featuring Anderson's extremely tough RhinoPoly finish and the Freedom Collection, which features bargain floors with the same distinct visual and structural superiority found in Anderson's more advanced collections. Freedom Collection floors are some of Anderson's oldest products; time-tested favorites that prove hardwood flooring truly stands the test of time.

Anderson Description
Anderson's floors are created through a process they call "Cross-Locked Engineered"™ plies, a method of using plywood with different grain structures so that it is more resistant to moisture damage. Additionally, Anderson's core structure uses oak or better hardwoods, not the industry-standard plywood. As a result, Anderson's floors are typically stronger and more stable than products produced by other hardwood manufacturers. Additionally, Anderson is a very environmentally-company. It is a member of both the Forest Stewardship Council and the Hardwood Forestry Fund and keeps focused on forest management techniques to ensure that its forests stay well-populated. In fact, for every customer who registers a warranty, Anderson plants a tree.
