Mohawk Laminate Flooring Description
Mohawk Laminate carries a wide variety of laminate floors that mimic the appearance of hardwood floors. Additionally, many of Mohawk's laminates have textured embossing that uses actual wood flooring to match the texture of hardwood, meaning that your wood will feel as realistic as it looks in your home. And all their floors carry the CrystalShield UV-cured urethane finish with aluminum oxide protection to make cleaning and caring for the floors easy and hassle-free.
Some of Mohawk's latest innovations are its embossed in-register collections. Bellingham, French Quarter and South Beach offer intricately detailed rustic patterns of oak, maple, walnut and merbau that recreate the timeless feel of worn hardwood flooring with the convenience and durability of modern laminated flooring. For a more modern (but equally realistic) appearance, consider the Montreal collection of 3-strip oak recreations in a wide range of colors, the Georgetown collection, which contains realistic hardwood recreations designed after a wide variety of species, or the Mansfield Park collection of beautiful laminates that use the look of American woods and exotic species. From oak, maple and cherry to exotic woods like merbau, rosewood, brazilian teak and wenge, Montreal, Georgetown and Mansfield Park have something for any decor. All these collections feature Mohawk's glueless InstaLoc system for easy installation and come with a 25-year residential warranty and a 5-year medium commercial warranty, so you can be assured that your floor will last for years.
Mohawk also offers a variety of mid-range floors like the rustic American Revival and traditional Townhouse that offer a realistic appearance and aren't as expensive as their in-register embossed laminates. They also offer a line of embossed discount laminate floors that give your home the feeling of a textured laminate floor at a bargain price.

Mohawk Description
Mohawk Industries was started when four brothers brought 14 looms from England to New York. Their first carpet pattern was a huge success, and so they stuck to that one color and pattern until 1920, when they merged with a nearby mill and called their company Mohawk Carpet Mills, Inc. after the nearby Mohawk River Valley. The new company grew quickly, soon producing all weaves of carpet and introducing new products like textured berbers and sculptured carpets. In the 1950s, Mohawk moved to South Carolina and, after merging with more mills, became the largest carpet manufacturer worldwide. By the 2000s, Mohawk had become the largest flooring supplier in the world, offering carpet, hardwood, laminate, ceramic tile/stone/ flooring, vinyl flooring, bedspreads, pillows, throw rugs and window coverings. Today, you can find Mohawk products in Home Depot, Lowe's, Macy's, Bloomingdales, Target, Wal-Mart and many other home furnishing retailers around the country.
